Melbourne is a beautiful and lively city with a never ending amount of things to do or see with every changing season. It is a multi-cultural city that creates chances for people to experience different cultures in one place.

I've enjoyed walking through the beautiful and lush parks in the middle of the city or just preparing myself for the coming season, seeing how the city changes with the seasons.

I like to spend my leisure time at the beach or in the city. I have tried cooking Aussie meals and foods.

Melbourne has truly provided me with eye-opening experiences such as the Royal Melbourne Show and winter sports in the snowy mountains. Attending the Melbourne Commonwealth Games is a cherished memory of Melbourne that I will carry with me. It was lovely to see some of the actions and competitions first-hand.

When I first arrived in Melbourne, I was surprised by the weather, especially by how one can experience almost four seasons in one day. I was also surprised by the public transport. It is very systematic and everything runs smoothly.

I have lived in both a house and an apartment in Melbourne. I prefer the apartment as it resembles more of a city lifestyle.

Studying in Melbourne has enabled me to learn about the health systems of a developed country and how the systems works to protect the health of all Australians. It is crucial for my course and it is very different from my home country. The way the lectures and tutorials are conducted is also different because the lectures cover a wide range of topics. Lectures do not just concentrate on a particular issue that is important to our course but lectures are also supplemented with readings to equip us with knowledge. The tutorials give students more opportunities to speak up, especially in discussions.

I have found the university staff and teachers helpful. Most of my lecturers became my friends and were willing to help me as much as they could. I have used my university's laboratories and computer labs. They are quite modern and easy to use.

I have travelled outside Melbourne whilst I've been here. I've been to Marysville. There, I visited the famous Bruno's Ark and Sculpture Garden and the snowy Lake Mountain and the Cathedral Ranges. I also had some English tea with hot scones in a cozy English cafe.

Melbourne is a great experience as you will get to meet different people from different backgrounds. Enjoy the Aussie way of life, be it food or social events and be able to travel to other places with ease. You may be surprised at how much Melbournian universities have to offer you with their high-tech facilities, conducive learning environments and a sneak peek into how the systems (business or health care) of a developed country work.

After I complete my study, I plan to tour Australia before I start working and continue to enjoy the Australian culture.

I'd like to say a big thank you to the Victorian Government for supporting us even if it's for one semester with this scholarship. I truly appreciate and value this scholarship and your generosity towards international students.
