Melbourne is the capital of Victoria and is Australia 's second largest city. Melbourne is a city of style, arts and culture, parks and gardens, food and wine, theatres and trams. It is a modern, economic and civilized metropolis. Melbourne has beautiful scenery, a temperate climate and fresh air. The weather is neither too hot nor too cold. The sky is blue and cloudless. At night, millions of stars shine in the sky.

The state of Victoria is blessed with rugged coastlines, peaceful breaches and tree-covered mountains. Melbournians are aware of nature's importance and great efforts are made to ensure the survival of the environment. Education plays a very important role in Melbourne. A great deal of money is invested in education, which will contribute to Victoria 's future success and enhance education levels.

In Melbourne there is welfare support for those in need, a first rate legal system and sound medical facilities and treatments. The people live in a comfortable and safe environment.

I have really enjoy living in Melbourne and would like to continue to live here. The temperature climate and pleasant environment are great attractions for me. In Melbourne, all people are considered equal and there is no discrimination. The people are very friendly and polite. The city is also well regulated and pollution levels are not too high. It is important for me to have a sense of safety.

The animals are so lovely here in Melbourne. In the square, there are many pigeons playing on the grass. I like sitting beside them and enjoy making friends with them. In addition, beautiful parrots sing in the trees. Many kinds of lovely dogs walk with their owners on the street. They really are a man's best friend!

The libraries and hubs at my university are modern. I usually study in the library. It is very large, bright and quiet. Many computers are provided to students to search for information and materials. The gymnasium has many kinds of facilities. It keeps us fit and healthy. My university has a large dining centre offering many delicious foods. It is a great place for us to have a rest.

The Victorian university sector is focused in Melbourne. University staff and teachers are well educated and very knowledgeable. They are helpful and friendly. When I experienced some difficulties, I was able to approach them for help. The staff helped me solve the problems very quickly. In class, I can bring up questions at any time and the teachers patiently explain. I enjoy the high quality education within the relaxed atmosphere.

Study in Melbourne is different to studying back home in China. In Melbourne, the length of time in class shorter but more intense. It's more efficient. The education system here pays more attention to practice. Most of courses require students to complete a report and give a presentation. Despite the pressure and challenge of this style, I find it extremely satisfying. I have also noticed that the universities make good use of modern tools. We are promptly informed of new developments about our subjects through the internet.

To relax, I usually see comic films and listen to light music. I think it is important to maintain good health. I try to incorporate sport into my lifestyle, particularly jogging and swimming.

I would advise students studying in Melbourne to keep in mind the stages of studying. Before the class, I like to preview what we will learn. It is beneficial to grasp the essential concept and understand it easily. In the class, I make notes to help me understand the key concepts. After class, I try to review what has been learned.

I plan to continue to study to become a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). At the same time, I would like to engage in work in a commercial environment in order to gain practical experience.
